John Huish worked for over 25 years as a Fire Service Officer with Royal Berkshire Fire & Rescue Service in the UK before embarking on a career in fire engineering. There he was an operational command officer and specialised in fire safety inspections and enforcement. Since then he has been involved in a wide range of building projects with consultancies in the UK, China and the Middle East. John has extensive experience working on aviation, retail, commercial, hospitality, Government and rail developments in the private and public sector in the region and in the UK. His areas of expertise include code consulting, smoke control and fire engineered solutions.
